He is the Executive Director of INCIDIN Bangladesh and also founder member of the organisation. He is a social activist and development practitioner and has special attention towards children, women, indigenous people and other vulnerable social groups and assist and empower them through policy level advocacy, awareness programs, training, and other support services. His expertise in the field of participatory social researches, evaluations and strategic planning (PSP) workshops and more than 30 research helped to develop sustainable community development programs in Bangladesh.
He was a prominent progressive student leader during the decade long movement against the military regime. He has strong affiliation with social and political movement in Bangladesh. His knowledge on gender context of the country has been enriched strategic visioning in the fields of violence against women and children. He has led and actively involved as Core Group Member, Advisory Board of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, for drafting of National Plan of Action on the sexual exploitation, sexual abuse of children including trafficking and through this process the country has achieved policy and implementation strategy for stopping violation and violence against children.
He is a member of the editorial board of two reputed monthly magazines on rights of agricultural farmers and food sovereignty and Trade liberalization. He is also a member of executive Board of Right to Food Bangladesh, General Secretary of Child Right Governance Assembly, Focal Point of All Together for Child Protection.
